We recently ran a poll on The Great Lycra Debate. The outcome was that 60% of voters wear lycra while cycling, and more surprisingly 9% wear lycra at every opportunity.
This got me thinking, what type of person wears lycra all the time? Well I think I found the answer in the photo below - Pro Cyclist, Lynn Gaggioli.

Wow, she’s got a hot body.
For the rest of us though… You can find lycra/spandex/coolmax/[insert stretchy, moisture wicking synthetic] that is flattering if you know how to shop for it. I like to wear tank tops with higher necklines. Short-sleeved and sleeved polo shirts are also a good choice for me. I prefer pilates capris and shorts in lycra over cotton. Tennis skirts are cute and tend to be much more flattering than running skirts.
I’m sure that if manpris and t-shirts were made in lycra, and cut into more forgiving shapes, more men would wear lycra at every opportunity.
