Do Your Bike Locks Pass the Test

Locked Up Bicycle

According to The Independent 1,200 bicycles are stolen every day in the United Kingdom. That is an amazing 440,000 stolen bikes every year!

A bike left in Croydon, south London, was stolen within an hour and bikes locked up in the centre of Manchester and Liverpool lasted less than two hours.

So are your bicycle locks up to the challenge and do you know how to lock your bike? Here is an excellent, and funny, video where a bike mechanic in New York grades the locking skills of bikes he sees.

Don’t become another cycling statistic, remember to lock your bike.
